QuickBooks - Invoice Number length limitation

Does anyone knows if QuickBooks allow more than 11 characters in INVOICE NO field? 

I'm new user in QuickBooks and I have an EDI connection with another entity who sends feeds to me and transfers Invoice # beyond 11 characters. I wonder if there is a setting to increase the length for Invoice No and Credit Memo No.
