So You Want to Be a Real Estate Investing Coach?

I've recently noticed that many new BP members are into coaching, mentoring, and real estate investing training (for money).

I just wanted to offer a little advice (no charge) to all those real estate investing mentors. Please check your web-sites for overall spamminess.

Signs of spamminess include:

-Tons of mis-spellings. Typos are bad, but mis-spellings are worse. Spell check works wonders.

-Limited space available. Please refrain from using this tactic, no one believes it anymore. The only thing limited is the demand for your service.

-Free consultations...that's a joke. No one signs up for anything anymore without at least talking to someone first, so the free consultation is assumed.

-Your digital image on an e-book. Digital e-book pictures are very 2003.

-Blogs with sporadic postings. If you go weeks between blog posts, people assume you are "part timing" it. I know, you really don't have time to update your blog because you're too busy flipping apartments complexes for crazy cash, but please make the effort to update the blog...the hungry masses are lost without your guidance.

-Blogs with no comments....ever. Hey, I'm a blogger and I know how hard it is to get noticed. But if you are soliciting money for your "highly sought after" services, then at least disable comments so that everyone doesn't necessarily know little traffic you get.

-$25,000 fees....you're not worth it....not even close.
