Need Advice: I saw a real estate investor ask for an apprentice?
Well I'm 17 years old and today was my first day of my senior year in high school. This whole summer I've been reading and studying things such as real estate, finance, economics, etc.. I think I might skip college to be a realtor or work in real estate as a gate way to become an investor and entrepreneur (I want to open a gym chain someday). I was riding the school bus and saw a sign that said:
"Real estate investor looking for apprentice. 100k+ per year"
Do you think there is some kind of catch there? I'm going to write down the number tomorrow when I see it again (I missed the number because we drove by too fast) and try calling it tomorrow. I think it isn't realistic for me to make 100k because I don't even have a license, but I do want to ask for an internship or apprenticeship. Do you think I should try it out, or is there some kind of scheme that I'm not aware of?
