How to navigate the internal computers at the county courthouse?

Greetings all,

It was my very first time attending the local courthouse to further analyze my selected target market for rehabs. I went to the Gwinnett County, Georgia courthouse to familiarize myself with their internal computer system and it felt like I was in StarTrek.

I found a specific neighborhood that I would like to further explore due to a good amount of potential sellers and wanted to gather specific information about the owners of certain properties. I had a hard time navigating the program since it would not allow me to search by property address.

If anyone has any tips on how to make my future visits more productive or if any local Atlanta investors use this resource for market research and wouldn't mind me tagging along, please let me know. I will even buy lunch! 😉

Cheers,

Damir

Try the County GIS system, rather than the courthouse computers.

https://www.gwinnettcounty.com/portal/gwinnett/Dep...

It links up with the tax assessor/commissioner information, and can get you a lot of info, including recent sales.
