Had a small discussion with someone that said one race of people won't be able to make it in this business like another race of people.  If you look at my profile you will see that I'm African American mixed with Native American...well that's  what I tell people.  In the discussion I can see that this person had some built up animosity towards another race.  Once I figured that out early on in the discussion, that's when I had to pump my brakes, put it in reverse and remove myself from the conversation QUICKLY!!

This business is all about mindset, drive and how bad you want it...point blank period!!  It doesn't matter like MJ said "if you're black or white"...there is enough for everybody to have a piece of the pie.  BTW...MJ is Micheal Jackson not the great Mick Jagger.

If I work hard, connect with the right people, continue to carry this sense of humor and professionalism...I can be highly effect in this business regardless of the shade of my skin.  I've had no problems speaking with people of all races and walks of life...well, the ones that speak English at least.  I had someone call me that spoke Spanish and I couldn't do a thing with it.  I wish I studied more in Spanish class but I said to myself "I won't need it, everybody speaks English".  We are so spoiled.

Just wanted to give my two cents.
