iPad issues since updating ios and chat feature

I've had nothing but problems logging in on iPad ever since BP decided to add the chat feature (bandwidth hog). Can't post and system grinds hopelessly. Now on PC.

Anyone else have similar experience?  It's kept me off the forums over a week!
