A question of etiquette
I really didn't know where to post this, so I decided to stick it in Off Topic to avoid clogging up the other Forums. But...here's my issue...
I understand Newbies are trying to build their networks and make contacts. However, it strikes me as extremely rude and presumptuous to get a blind Colleague Request. I mean, I've not interacted with the person on a Forum, and they don't even take the time to write a short introductory message to accompany the request. Really? Does that bother anyone else?
Newbies...I will not be accepting any more blind Colleague Requests. If you can't take the 15-seconds it will take to write, "Hey, I'm new around here and looking to make contacts," then I am going to make use of the 1-second it will take me to hit the Deny button.
Real Estate is about relationships. This isn't Facebook. The game isn't to see how many "friends" you have.
