Any Tips for Organizing Business Cards?

Does anyone have any great tips or ways you keep business cards organized that you receive from other people at networking events?  I have too many just to keep in a pile and I'm finding myself starting to lose some.  

I know some people scan each important one they get and save them in a doc on their computer but I'm not too crazy about that.  For me, once I throw something on a doc and it gets too long I never go back and open it.

Any specific tips or ways you keep them organized and easy to find?
