Has anyone used prepaid internet?
Has anyone used any type of prepaid internet? I see that Walmart sells a card similar to a pay as you go cell phone. There are competitors as well.
I have a vacation home and would like to avoid a monthly bill since I'm not there all of the time. I also prefer to have the kids play outside and get fresh air instead of watching netflix. I have been using my iphone as a wireless hotspot to run my ipad and my wife uses her iphone to run her laptop. The problem is that the iphone wifi is very slow. It also drains the battery on the phone very quickly.
Does anyone have something they've used that will have decent speed and provide enough internet to do basic internet searching and online banking?
