We want to move to Texas from Canada

Hi everyone. We have begun the process of coming to the US legally. Holy smokes what a process. We're planning to move to Texas to begin a Real Estate Investing company. We are just about finished rehabing the property we're in now (British Columbia Canada) However it's time for a change. If any advice out there for us we'd appreciate it.
