Your thoughts on a career in RE appraisals.....
Hi
I am just about to graduate from college with my business degree...and Im trying to narrow down a career, or at least something to make some $$.
As I see it, when I graduate I can either try to find a job with someone or I can try to kick start a business of my own. Since I am very interested in Real Estate, I was thinking of jobs in that area. I was thinking that starting a home appraisal business might be a good idea. I dont know a whole lot about the appraisal business, but I did buy a book about it and have looked into getting my license.
I think it might fit well with general real estate investing because it might allow me to keep a solid eye on the market and maybe even help me find deals.
Im just looking for general opinions here....Ill read all thoughts...
Oh, BTW, I am in southern Ca....
:D
Thanks
