750 hours - transitioning to real estate professional

I know I put in more than 750 hours a year, but I also work 2400 hours a year at my job. I know that if I were able to consistently work 4 hours a day on my business I would be out of the “rate race” in less than two years.

I do business through an LLC, but I have to personally guarantee loans, so I still need my job. My husband and I are partners in this business, and we want to replace one salary this year.

Any suggestions for transitioning to one day job so the other can focus exclusively on growing the business while still qualifying for mortgages?

Thank you!

Rhonda
