Proper Fire Escape Egress Ladder for Lansdowne, PA
Greetings BP Community,
I have been searching for fire escape egress specifications that can legally abide by egress laws for Lansdowne, PA. I have been in communication with the borough inspection officer, but he does not know what system or ladder I can install. He was going to get back to me with information, but it has been a while. I want to install a second means of egress for a 4th unit in a third floor of a Triplex that I recently purchased. The inspection officer told me that I have to install that in order to legally make it a Quadplex. I am coming across many different sites with conflicting information and I was hoping that someone can give me any information or point me to the right direction. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.
