Would you go to your tenant’s wake?

I bought a property about 6 months ago, last week I had a tenant pass away from heart failure. I didn’t really get to know him and we weren’t seeing eye to eye because he wouldn’t resign my new lease. (Long story) I live in a small town, everyone knows everyone which is why I’m on the fence about going. What would you do?
