LLC or Not? That is the question.

My brother wants to get 5 rentals off his name (mom's real estate, mom doesn't want them either) he already owns over 25 of his own. He wants me to add my name to be part of the LLC but of course help/pay any tax liability should there be any. My mom unfortunately doesn't trust my older brother to dispurse her assests when the time comes, hence why she wants me involved. I will not get paid but simply be part to ensure my brother does what he's supposed to do. Should I get involved and what are my benefits if not getting financial compensation?

Any Pro's and Con's would be appreciated.
