Fire Rated residential window

I'm looking to find any information on contractors in Connecticut that can put in a fire rated window.

I own a 4-plex. The previous owner did a renovation back in the 90s and reconfigured 2 of the apartments so instead of the hose being split into 4 even quadrants, with 3 floors each, one side of the house has one apartment taking the entire 1st floor and 1/2 the second floor, the other apartment taking the other half of the second floor and the entire 3rd floor.

There is an exterior stair case you access the 2nd apartment, there is a window from the first floor apartment that abuts the stair.

During a recent life saftey inspection by the fire Marshall he informed me that the previous owner was supposed to install a fire rated window in that location.

My options are, install a fire rated window, install an independent fire shutter, or board up the window.

So right now I'm looking for someone in the area who can price and install either the fire rated window or the fire shutter.
