Repair Request question

Jowan Chism
Posted

Hello,

Currently we are in escrow and have run into a situation in which the seller gave us a verbal  agreement to fixing a repair but has not followed through. We are down to the last two weeks of escrow and they will not allow us to get the repair inspected or provide information on a quote they say they’ve gotten! They would like us to agree to current offer and waive inspection contingency. Is there anyway we can get the seller to follow through?
We have asked that they either fix it as agreed or provide sellers credit to cover. Seller has stated they won’t fix, won’t provide credit, and won’t allow any inspections.
