Tax planning reccomendations?
Hello team,
I wanted to see if anyone had a great recommendation for a tax accountant that focuses on real estate and broader tax planning? My questions are a bit specific as they are related to the following topics:
- - Tax impacts of selling long-term held stock options to purchase a rental property that needs a bit of rehab
- - Looking to purchase a property in an Indianapolis Opportunity Zone (Opportunity Zone Fund / how to set one up and does it makes sense to take this approach?)
- - Looking to do some considerable rehab and would love to understand if a tax abatement would be possible
- - Identifying how to best fund / run a self-directed IRA account
- - Identify how to best structure the business / the income
- - All the other items I just don't understand at this juncture going into my first deal.
Any recommendations would be highly appreciated.. Thank you!
Naweed

There're plenty of real estate accountants here on BP, people like @Michael Plaks, @Ashish Acharya, @Basit Siddiqi, and many others whose names I don't recall. If you're open to working with your CPA remotely just reach out to people here.
