Pekin/Peoria, IL - Favorite Pockets of Town?
Hey! I'm a new investor in the Peoria/Pekin area.
My question is: What are some of your favorite places to eat, spend time, shop, or relax? I'm looking toward doing live in fix and flips and would love to find a fun little pocket of town to start out in.
Peoria: I've done some driving around and am loving the houses in the Bradley University 61606 area. I also am loving the Illinois riverwalk area on 61603 and some of the houses on Glen Oak.
Pekin: I'm currently loving the area around Mineral Springs Park, the Meyer's Lake Area, and the northern section of North Parkway.
Any thoughts on these areas or other areas?

City of Morton would be a good one to check out! Seasons gastropub and The Forge Steakhouse are excellent. And that'd be a good city to look at flips.
