Hello from Central Florida

Michael Lee
Posted

Hi my name is Michael Lee and I'm new to BP. I was born and raised in Central Florida and have chosen to raise my children here. We absolutely love living here and enjoy all the outdoor activities available to us.

I purchased my first investment property in '04 and have flipped or held on to a little more than twenty properties over the years. About a third of those was on my own and 2/3 with family and friends. I currently have four single family rentals all located close to my house.

For the last dozen years or so I've been a franchisee of a restaurant chain and I recently sold my last location.

I've only been a casual investor up to now but my dream has been to go full time and now is the time for me. I would say I'm a novice/intermediate investor compared to the professionals with hundreds of deals done.

Currently I have more money ready to be deployed than I can use. I'm not scared of partnering with newbies, managing rehabs, etc... I'm happy to do what ever it takes. My deal flow is anemic.

I have one deal I am purchasing set to close on 1/12/2020 and a rehab on an existing rental after a long term tenant is leaving at the end of the month. The property I'm purchasing on 1/12 I've been working on for two years! Lol

I'm considering getting my real estate license. Thanks for reading! Yes I'll put a thumb nail up soon.

@Michael Lee Welcome to BP! I got my license this year and honestly I should have done it sooner if for no other reason than to get access to the MLS. The amount of data there is awesome. Where about in Central Florida are you?
