Discount Real Estate Brokers (South Florida)

Good evening BP,

I'm looking to do a bit of market research to find some of the cheaper options for brokers representing sellers in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area. It seems to me there's a disconnect between agencies that want to charge 6% and DIY sellers who don't want to pay any fees. Are there any options in between that actually provide some or at least near a full-service similar to the big name 6% standard brokers?

As always, thanks in advance to anyone who has any leads for me

-Jon

If you work with the same agent, build a relationship, with multiple deals you should be getting a discount. Maybe not the first deal, but if you are using them on the buying side (which you would not pay for) and selling side. Most will start to see your repetitiveness, they will or should be discounting your fees. If you bounce from agent to agent, you're not showing any loyalty doubt you'll get a discount. Make sure you find an agent, build a relationship with and talk about what you expect. Real Estate is negotiable, in all aspects! Find a good agent and work the discount, not find a discount agent and hope their good!
