House Hacking in Miami

Happy Saturday everyone! I will be moving to the Miami area for work in August. I am interested in house hacking a triplex/quadplex and would enjoy to hear any experiences/knowledge/guidance anyone could provide. I will be working Midtown area and was interested in seeing what is available in the vicinity (Wynwood/Allapattah) for 200-350K. So far all of the properties I have seen on platforms such as Zillow and Realtor are decent but could use a little love. I qualify for a VA Loan but will be looking to switch to a conventional loan in the summer of 2021 when I move out of the area for my next assignment. I would ask that if you have any feedback, please be descriptive and detailed. Look forward to hearing from some of you!
