Brokerage *and* investing business in one?

Hi! I'm a real estate broker in Jax that's interested in starting an investing business with my husband.  Can I start another real estate brokerage s corp (like a generic one compared to my waterfront brokerage) and use it to list homes and buy investments/rentals?  Like an "all in one" ABC Real Estate Investments Corp.?  I can't find info online that says the limits of the brokerage side of the company.  This business would be a joint effort with my husband, who has his license but not his broker's license.  I would be the broker on record.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
