Any investors in NW Florida (Panhandle)

Air Force Veteran of 9 years, looking for my start. Seems to be lots of talk about wholesaling, however, not sure if this strategy is even alive anymore with all the readily available information to sellers these days. Located in Fort Walton Area. Willing to travel the whole panhandle. Suggestions?
