New investor looking for guidance

Hello BP Family, I am looking to begin investing in pre-foreclosure and short sale investment deals in Tampa Bay, FL

I am seeking a mentor that can help me navigate the waters. I am a licensed realtor so this should give me some leverage in the game.

I am willing to j/v my first few deals with a mentor for their time invested in my learning.

Happy Investing!

Lawrence

Hi Lawrence

Because the the Tampa Bay market is so hot right now, you'll see that the short sale and pre-foreclosure deals are few and far between. Banks know they can take the house back, do a little rehab, and make a profit - just like an investor lol.

I suggest focusing on finding off-market deals. They're actually easier to do and the spread is bigger.
