Seeking Owner Financing

Zac Conn

Posted

Seeking a 2-4 unit property in the Tampa area, preferably close to USF, that the owner would be willing to owner finance. My wife and I would be ready to move in by early October. Also willing to consider a single family home. Let me know if anybody has any ideas/references that may help fit my needs. Thank you

@Zac Conn a local Realtor should be able to help you. They can search the MLS for "sale type" which often include things like owner finance, contract sale, etc.

Typically these properties are overpriced or need serious work.

I would also check out Craigslist and search things like contract, owner finance, seller finance, rent to own, etc.

We ran into a similar struggle when relocating to Indianapolis but were able to get an FHA loan on a cheap house. It's ended up being kind of a blessing in disguise. It's definitely not an area I would have picked but my payment is dirt cheap and we ended up buying the neighbors home to use it as an office.
