Casselberry, FL. Investing in the Florida area

Hi, so I'm a new investor and am looking into a property in the Casselberry, FL area.

I do not live in the area so I was wondering if the BP community could help me learn a little about the Casselberry area.

Specifically,

What is the community like there?  The home in question is next to a gold course, is this common? 

Are there colleges/universities to be aware of?  

What are jobs like down there?  Is this more of a 1-2 year job market or are there long term companies in the area.

What are rental and market prices down there?  I have an idea what they are going to want but would like a heads up before talking numbers.
