Hello @Michael Voss,

Welcome to the BiggerPockets forums and best of luck to you on your RE licensing exam!

This is a great place to connect with people in and around your target market.

To help new BP'ers find what and who they're looking for, I recommend 4 things:

1. complete your BP profile - Include website links, social media handles, or other online profiles so that people can find you. Be as detailed and specific as possible when mentioning your future plans, current operation/experience level, ongoing projects, etc. This will help people connect with you after determining how their goals, services and resources align with yours.

2. use the 'search' function to find topics, members and areas of interest. Get answers to your questions and find people using this function!

3. Set up keyword alerts so that you can receive notifications once a topic or area of interest in mentioned in one of the forums. Its a great way to stay current!

4. Check out the Events tab at the top to find local and virtual meet ups. In addition to the BP events/meet-ups, I'd also recommend meetup.com and eventbrite.com to search for local events where you can meet investors and other RE professionals.

All the best to you on your journey and keep us posted on how the exam goes!

Abel
