Gas was shut off due to non payment

Gas shut off When tenant doesn't pay gas, how long usually take CNG shut off gas? My tenant called me and stove/heat is not working anymore. I called plumber and my plumber says it is due to gas was shut off. I closed this multi unit Apr 1 so it has been more than 5months. I think my tenant was paying but she forget to pay for 1-2months? I told my tenant gas is still tenant responsibility. She says she never paid Gas when the previous owner managed. Electric/Gas is still tenant responsibility on my contract. And other tenant is also saying same thing that it is tenant responsibility. I will ask tenant to pay the service call for plumber that i paid ($125).
