Best Area of CT for Investing in a Multi-Family Property?
Hello I have been wondering about multi-family properties, specifically in CT from the NY line to just before Hartford.
Are any of those areas worth investing in?
I found some properties in Bristol, Southington, Watertown...
Would love feedback/suggestions!

@Brent Kane It sounds like the property she’s selling is her home though, and primary residences typically aren’t eligible for a 1031 exchange. She would need to turn it into a rental and treat it like an investment property on her taxes for a few years in order for it to qualify. However as long as she has lived there for 2 of the last 5 years a 1031 likely wouldn’t be advantageous anyway as she’d probably qualify for the cap gains exemption up to $250k filing single, $500k filing joint. I'm not a tax professional though, everybody should speak with a pro about their own tax strategies!
