New Investor from NYC looking to invest in a multifamily in Conn.
Good afternoon everyone, I'm pursuing to become an investor and I'm looking to purchase my first multi-family investment in Connecticut. I have not decided which particular city as of yet, but I have seen a few potential properties in Waterbury and Hartford. I work in NYC, and as we all know this market has become too expensive for me to acquire my very first deal. Connecticut is perfect for me, and I will also start off by handling my own property management given the fact that Connecticut is not too far away. Any guidance will be helpful from current investors as to what locations are ideal to start my market analysis in.
I would love to connect with you all. Please feel free to message me at any time. Thank you.

Hello @Hud Malik
I live on Long Island and invest in CT. I own multifamily properties Bridgeport, Bristol, and Manchester. Great market. Keep in mind most houses in those areas are older so you have to budget for repairs.
I'd be happy to talk if you have any questions. Feel free to reach out!
