New Investor In Temple TX area!

Good morning everyone! My wife and I have moved to the central Texas area and I am itching to get my foot in the door with real estate investing! I would like to start in the Killeen / Temple area. Unfortunately we own our current house so house hacking is not possible. Once we get in the door up here I would like to start inching down towards Austin. Any help or advice starting out would be very appreciated! Always looking for my advice or pointers! Thank you!
