Hello,

I am from the Austin, Texas area and want to get started in real estate investing. I currently work in law enforcement for the Texas Rangers (TXDPS). I own one rent house near Waco, TX and would like to get into fix and flip, and fix and rent. Single family homes and duplex's I guess would be the easiest way for me to jump into REI. I have not joined any REI clubs in Austin yet but hope to in the near future. Not sure which one would be the best or if I should join multiple. I have not taken any action yet, just reading books and internet researching. I welcome any advise and cant wait to get started once I am confident I wont lose my shirt.
