Newbie Investor - Seeking Advice on the Brickell/Edgewater Market

Hey all - new user (and longtime lurker) finally introducing myself. I'm a NJ native finishing up grad school before moving to Miami for work this upcoming summer. I've been researching rental properties for a while and have finally settled on purchasing a condo in the Brickell or Edgewater areas to live in for 2 years and then rent out afterward. Obviously these are not the ideal rental properties, but would love to connect with any Miami natives to better understand the market and your experience.
