First Post, First Time Investor

Good morning everyone I have just finished reading "How to Invest in Real Estate" and I thought I would make a post and see if anybody out there has any advice.. I have never invested before but I am really looking to dive in. I have a goal to purchase my first deal along with my wife within the next 4-5 months however; when the time comes I want to have a solid strategy that will set us up for success on our first venture. Based on my reading and research thus far I feel like I am leaning towards a flip or perhaps a wholesale deal to get my feet wet. If anybody has any insight or advice for a first time investor please feel free to share! I am not looking for any kind of mentorship just looking for some advice or insight from somebody who has started where I am starting, thanks again!

Good Luck to everybody out there!

-Dillon
