New - Nashville, TN exploring Jacksonville, FL

Hey Bigger Pockets community. I'm Mark Allmond currently in Nashville, TN, but looking to relocate to the Jacksonville, FL area (particularly Jax Beach). So if you're in the Jacksonville area PLEASE hook me up with anything I might need to know. I have little real estate ownership experience to speak of; being a longtime tenant/renter has worked well for me. I am now in a place to make the leap. The BP podcasts and what I see of this community make REI awfully compelling. In the least, a believer in being fully informed in any venture, I just want to make intelligent decisions in real estate. Can I get a little help?
