Renting out my home and creating a new LLC
Hello all,
I'm so excited to finally be part of the BiggerPockets forum! Looking forward to sharing and learning more about the ins-and-outs of the many perspectives that's offered. Here's my 1st question for you all, as I'm getting ready to make my 1st move and ready myself as a new landlord.
I'm house hacking by living in the townhouse for year. Now that my year is up, I'm ready to rent it out and put the rental in a LLC so that my tenant can make payments to the LLC. Can the newly formed LLC have a different address (e.g., my new home), so that the State doesn't send correspondence to the new tenant?
Thanks all.
