I'm a Newbie

Howdy Everyone, I'm Dave. I'm a 27 year old Air Force officer living in Montana. I've been reading about RE Investing for about 4 years now, but from a combination of bad luck, analysis paralysis, and laziness, I only have my primary residence single family home in Great Falls, MT to show for. I'm really excited about learning more from this site, and am interested in leaving the military to work full time in real estate (in 1 manner or another) in the next few years. Currently I am finishing re-financing my primary residence. Once that is complete, I'm looking to get it rented out and hopefully will find a duplex-4 unit to buy and move into this fall. I would also like to quickly say that I love the podcast and listen to it regularly, so thanks to Josh & Brandon!

@David Schulwitz welcome to the site! When I read your post saying "I only have my primary residence to show for" I think you should re-word it to be this:

I started by real estate investing career by purchasing my own single-family residence in Great Falls, MT, and am currently working on refinancing it to speed along to a multi-family. Great things will happen from there!

Now, doesn't that sound much more positive! :)
