Hi Everyone, I'm Emma from Pasadena, CA and recently joined BP after stumbling upon the BP podcasts, which I LOVE!!! Am boring my kids senseless in the car, as that's where I listen to them! Or should that be giving them a great start in their real estate investing careers - maybe your youngest listeners at 8 and 5? Anyway, I'm looking at getting into the buy and hold market, however, living 10 miles outside of downtown LA means the numbers don't stack up here - $6000 a month mortgage to rent out at $2400 ; yeah, not going to work!! So I'm looking out of state and would love to hear from others who have made this leap. I know it would be a whole lot easier to keep things local, and there are a ton of challenges with out of state investing, so any information (do's or maybe more importantly don'ts!) would be gratefully received! Loving the fabulous info from this community...off to listen to podcast 22, Emma
