Hey everyone I'm new to the forum and first I would like to say that I'm thankful for finding this site. I was in the process of paying $5k for a program with a guru. Just couldn't make myself sign the contract after reading it and had to agree to some of the terms listed. After more research on investing I believe I can learn enough from here and recommended books that I have been reading to get started. So this is my plan going forward. I work full time now to pay the bills and will continue to do so. I am starting an online program to get my AR real estate license and want to work as a part-time associate to create extra income and I also do home improvement projects for people on the side. I want to save that income to start my investing career. I eventually want make this my full time career when the time is right. I have even thought about finding a local investor and see if they are willing to mentor me in exchange for work on there properties or rehabs. We would both benefit. Any advice or comments about my plan would be appreciated. Thank you!
