Intro and Partnering With an Existing Investor

Hi everyone,

I just joined BP and wanted to introduce myself.

I am originally from NYC and now based in the southwest (between Arizona and California). I went to school for mechanical engineering/business and ended up taking some intro real estate classes that left me with curiosity in the space. After a few years leading engineering/manufacturing teams to build high-tech products as well as building sales teams to sell these products, I partnered with a few investors and decided to launch a micro-PE firm focused on buying mom/pop industrial businesses. I am now looking to take what I learned in prior experiences and apply it to what I am really interested in (real estate). After going through the content on BP and reading the BP books, the BRRRR/value add strategy appeals most to me.

To get started, I wanted to see if I could add some value to an existing investor in exchange for knowledge/experience. Once shown what to look for, I can find the deals, manage the flip, find tenants, etc. Basically, do the "logistics" work in exchange for guidance and economics in the deals. Happy to provide references of past investors I've worked with. You can learn more about me on my Linkedin
