New Pittsburgh Investor in Multi-Family Rentals

Attorney (future). Contractor (past). Investor (present).

I'm an aspiring attorney from Pittsburgh, PA and am interested in buying and holding multi-family properties in the greater-Pittsburgh region. I'm currently hunting for my first deal, which I hope to live in while I finish my last two years of law school, in part, to take advantage of an FHA loan.

I worked as a defacto general contractor for a flip some of my family members did, and caught the real estate buzz. You can check out some of the home improvement projects I've done on my IG: falco_makes_stuff. If you're interested in doing some of your own updates and renovations and need some advice, please reach out!

I'd especially love to connect with those in the Pittsburgh market. What types of properties have you invested in? What specific tips would you have for someone in my shoes?
