Hello Y'all I'm Pablo!

Hey you guys! My name is Pablo and I'm a new real estate investor out of the Western Suburbs in Illinois! Looking to get into the real estate game with a house hack and trying to get into neighborhood right next to the hottest ones like I've heard been suggested! Working with an awesome agent and went under contract but unfortunately (or fortunately) he found some pretty bad rotting in the roof and the attic was coming apart so badly that we could push a finger through it. Unfortunately I don't have the money to do all that, I think it was a 500K house and could have negotiated the price down to about 180-210 after finding all these issues, but how would you all recommend going about the money situation next time? Canceled the contract after finding all these issues. Anyways, I look forward to getting into contract again and closing! Thanks BiggerPockets for keeping me informed and feeling confident enough to keep pushing forward!!
