Hi all,

My name is Bryan Payne and I am from Fort Collins, CO. I have been interested in real estate investing since I was a teenager. Because I was a "stupid' kid and did all of the stupid stuff kids do I spent my late 20's and 30's trying to get out of debt. I now have a low amount of debt and horrible credit.

I am currently unemployed and back in school to finish my degree in business management. Luckily my wife has a great job to support us, I just have to make sure I get my studies done and the house is clean.

I want to start investing in real estate as soon as possible but I expect that it won't be until I graduate in March 2014 and I have a job. I would like to find a mentor between now and then so that I can pick their brain.

I have been lurking for a few days mostly read blog posts. What a great resource Bigger Pockets is, I intend to be a big part of this amazing site.
