New to real estate... TOTALLY NEW!

Hello, everyone. My Name is Pablo and I'm a Chilean born and raised 22 year old living in Melbourne, Australia (Beautiful city!). I've always wanted to get into real estate investing, but, let's face it, I have no idea where to begin from!

I would appreciate tips, help, things I should know from all the experienced people in this site, and especially, if they have done investing in Australia already.

Thanks to everyone for reading me and I'm willing to learn a lot from all of you :)

@Pablo Lara

Welcome to BP. You will need to do alot of reading. This site has so much information it can overwhelm you.

Step 1: Create your plans and goals. What do you want to do in Real Estate? Flips, rentals, wholesale, aparmtments, commercial? What do you want Real Estate to do for you? Goals? Why do you want to do Real Estate?

Step 2: Read "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki and also "Think and Grow Rich" by Napolean Hill. These two books are great and will help your mind open up and get you into the right mindset to be in Real Estate or any other business venture

Step 3: Start networking, talking with people, look at houses, study the market you want to invest in, find a Real Estate Agent (although I never use them to find houses myself, I only use them for paperwork).

As time goes, things fall into place.

Good luck
