Hi, thanks so much for creating this platform. Words cannot describe what it means to me to be here, and how valuable the platform is to me. I studied geological engineering for my undergraduate degree, worked with Newmont Gold Corp for some time, got bored, went to the UK to study law, worked briefly in the field and got bored as well. I then worked managing projects, and got certified as a PMP. My dad  was in the construction business and I used to work for him, so, I have always had a passion for the industry. Even though I always knew the real estate industry is where I want to be, I haven’t gotten the courage to start until recently. My research led me to Biggerpockets, the podcast is the air I breath. I have read other resources too. I am in the Bloomington/Normal (Illinois) area. Thanks so much guys!

@Nana Qwequ - Welcome to the BP community.  I definitely 2nd your appreciation for what the BiggerPockets team put together.

I strongly encourage you to use the keywords function and plug in all the neighboring cities so you can network with all the local investors.  I use it religiously up here in the Chicago region.  If you end up doing some investing up north please look me up.
