Newbie from Havelock, NC

I know you are asking yourself where in the world is Havelock, NC. Havelock is located in eastern NC, about 30 minutes from the ocean. I am a retired Marine and working as a project manager for a company that supports the Marine Corps. My wife, Susan, and I have little to no experience in real estate, but we have made the decision that now is the time to jump into it. For years we have wanted to get in to RE investing and just recently we "invested" a good chunk of change in one of the gurus system. Failure is not an option or us.
