Newbie from Northern, VA

Hi, my name is Valerie Brown and I'm the newbie from Burke, VA, which is northern VA/Fairfax County. I'm a South Carolina native and have 2 rental properties there. My goal is to make more real estate investments so that I can replace my corporate income. I want the freedom that being an entrepreneur allows although I realize it's still work and can be hard work. I found Bigger Pockets from reading Brandon Turner's article on Paula Pants' blog entitled "Afford Anything." His article appears under the real estate section. I'm exciting about joining the group and want to network and learn more about fix-and-flip and buy and hold rentals. Thanks for creating such an awesome resource for real estate investing!
