Starting Out in real estate as a Student

Hi, I'm Max and I've been studying and educating myself on real estate investing for about 6 months now. I'm a student in Gainesville Florida at Santa Fe college, and my goal is to close my first wholesaling by the end of the summer since I grew up here and know the area well. After doing a few more wholesale deals to gather experience, I plan to buy a house hack to eliminate rent and start out my portfolio as I continue wholesaling and start investing in more rental properties. I'm hoping to use Bigger Pockets to make connections in my area and build relationships with other ambitious people, as well as asking questions finding deals.

Welcome to BP! I also went to SF years ago before I started my real estate career as a Realtor here locally. If you've ever got any deals let me know! Gainesville would be a great area to house hack especially if it's somewhere close to campus too. Once you graduate you could always turn it into a rental and maybe find a BRRRR. Good luck!
