New and Motivated to Learn Wholesaling in Houston, TX

Hello!

My name is Grace Powell and I live in Houston, TX. I have some experience in Real Estate where my husband and I purchased and landlorded 6 rentals from 2003-2005. This experience turned bad due to people we were working with at the time but I know the power of Real Estate from that experience and I want to get back into investing. I've narrowed my scope to wholesaling because this is my best option at this point.

I'm currently working as a Customer Service Specialist at Xerox and my goal is to transition into full-time wholesaling. I'm taking a leap of faith into this and I'm so glad I found this site as it has been very helpful in provided insights as to what I should do to begin.

The bottom line is I need buyers and I'm willing to learn whatever you can teach me because I am determined and motivated to be successful at this. Grace Powell Hey Grace, welcome to Bigger Pockets! As you can see, we have quite a few active members from the Houston area.

As for your interest in wholesaling, this may be very vague, but if you find good deals, the buyers will come out of the woodworks. I would recommend focusing on finding deals over finding buyers.

As with most things, desire and consistency are incredibly important in real estate investing. If you truly want to be successful at it, you will find a way. And to Sam Craven Sam's point, as long as you're consistently working your plan to achieve the goals you've set for yourself you'll be fine. Anybody can do something once, but you've got to make sure you're dedicated enough to do it again and again even when it doesn't seem like it's paying off right away.
